Amanda's Visit

The week after Rachel visited, Amanda came down with Evelyn and Amanda's old roommate and friend of Quin, Ashley, and Ashley's son Sean. They drove down Friday before conference and went home Monday. They stayed for a short time, but it was so fun to see them. We took the camera everywhere we went, but of course only got a few pictures.

Evelyn wasn't too keen on the helmet, but she sure looked cute!

On Saturday, we got up and went to the mall. Amanda got a ride on Quin's motorcycle and had a blast! We shopped for a while and then came home.

Ashley and Sean

We went to this awesome ice cream parlor called Dewar's and all got a treat. It was great!

My friend Stacie loaned us this Pack n Play, Evelyn loved holding on to it and walking around.

Quin fed Evelyn a lemon, at first she seemed to not know what to think. Quin's family loves lemons with salt on them. I think they are bad for your enamel. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Sunday we watched conference and laid around the house. We were sad to see them go, but were so glad they came. That's a long ride for a very short trip.

Oh Quin....his laugh cracks me up in that video. Poor little Evelyn, but she kind of seemed to like it after she got over the initial shock of things. And just so you know Natalie, we are all aware of lemons being bad for your enamel, but we still like them. :)

Got to get 'em started off right liken' lemons! And I agree with Elena about Quin's laugh.
Yes, I worry about the enamel thing too, so, I try to use my lips to eat the juice stuff out and swallow it as much as possible without touching my teeth. The bad part is when you sit and suck on them with your teeth in them. Oranges are bad that way too. And you make sure you always rinse with water abundantly after eating.

Hey Natalie! You are so right, Lemons are awful for your teeth, I've seen the terrible effects in school, the acid will eat them right away. That video of Evelyn was just darling, she is so beautiful. I'm getting started on a blog of my own, I'll send you the link when I get it going! Love ya tons!

That made my cheeks pucker just watching the video. Also, when it comes to teeth, who needs them? Just ask the Turtle Man
