Blood Traitors and Vandals

We've been got!

Yesterday we came out of church and this was on our cars! Quin is so upset he couldn't even post this blog! He says this is what they must be learning at "That" school.

Our friends the McArthur's daughter was in town (the blood traitor, as Quin calls her) and she decided to do this. Our protective layer of dirt wasn't thick enough I guess. But we did hear that they almost ruined their markers trying to get through it.

O WHATEVER!
I am not a blood traitor! Quin you're just jealous you didn't get excepted to the Y! It wasn't even my idea to begin with. You moved the BYU magnet to the top of my mom's car so of course something had to be done about it. Those things can just slide by.
BYU is way better then the Utes!

They have to teach us those things at "That" school in order to protect ourselves from the blood colored heathens further up the valley.

You don't get excepted to school, you get accepted. What are they teaching down there anyway, just marriage courses?
By the way, Brigham Young founded the University of Utah first, and in fact BYU was spawned from the University of Deseret (UofU).

Dear anonymous (aka Quin),

This whole BYU, UofU(formerly known as UofD) history stuff reminds me of the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Community of Christ (formerly known as RLDS).

Both churches come from the same original founding body.

One is the true church and likes the name Brigham Young, the other isn't the true church and shuns the name Brigham Young.

The LDS church has grown and expanded much more than the RLDS. I can think of BYU-Hawaii, BYU-Idaho, and the BYU Jerusalem Center.

Come to think of it, the spiraling torch at U of U's stadium reminds me a little bit of the spiraling temple in Independence, Missouri.

Coincidence?

Hmm, interesting . . . not.
The reason there is a torch at the U stadium is because that's where the Winter Olympics opening and closing ceremonies were held, but of course BYU had nothing to do with it (even though their stadium is larger (and uglier and louder)), so that's probably why you didn't know about it.

Well Kade, I usually log in to leave comments. So I am not anonymous.

And if you are going to compare the schools to religion, I think you should take into account the fact that the true church was established first and the false one broke away to do things their own way.

Anonymous,

It's obvious that you are not Quin judging by the level of skill in your "come back". Oh, and didn't a BYU alumnus save the SLC Olympics?

Quin,

Touché. I actually had thought of that when I was posting, but obviously I couldn't write that.
